Senior Professional Staff Member and Energy Policy Advisor, Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee
Brianne Miller is a senior professional staff member and energy policy advisor for the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee majority staff. Her portfolio at the committee includes the activities at the Department of Energy, including the national laboratories, innovation policy, and nuclear energy. Brianne previously worked for Senator James E. Risch, R-Idaho, where she was his lead advisor on energy policy issues, including activities at the Idaho National Laboratory and the Idaho environmental management cleanup site. In addition, she served as legislative director for Congressman Doc Hastings of Washington State where she was responsible for the Congressman’s efforts on the cleanup of the Hanford site and US Army Corps of Engineers projects. She also led efforts for the Nuclear Cleanup Caucus. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in finance from the Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida.
