CTO, SunTech Drive
Nikola Milivojevic received the B.S. and M.S. degrees from the University of Belgrade, Serbia, Ph.D. degree from the Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago. Nikola is currently a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and an owner of SunTech Drive, the company that designs power electronics for off grid and microgrid solutions. Nikola hold a role of VP of engineering at Bright Energy Storage Technologies, developing compressed air energy storage solutions for renewable energy projects. He was also Adjunct professor at Colorado University, at Boulder, where he developed new course: “Adjustable Speed Drives”, as a part of US DoD grant. In addition, Nikola was Director of Engineering at Southwest Windpower, the market leader in small wind turbine industry, and was also Chief Technology Officer at MagDrive Technologies, LLC.
